Igniting Primary Health Care Hope in South Sudan.
At Pioneers Care, we believe every person deserves access to basic healthcare, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Care for those who need it most.
Pioneers Care was founded on the belief that every person deserves access to basic healthcare in South Sudan.
We provide care to those who need it most, and we work to improve lives by addressing the root causes of poor health: poverty, limited education, and lack of access to healthcare.
- Free, dignified primary health care
- Rooted in and led with local communities
- Addressing health, poverty and education together
For too many families, basic care is out of reach.
Many families in South Sudan are working hard just to make ends meet. When a child falls ill or a mother needs care, the nearest clinic can be far away and the cost too high.
No parent should have to choose between feeding their family and caring for a sick child.
The burden falls hardest on those who are already vulnerable:
- Children
- The elderly
- People with disabilities
- Mothers and newborns
Our goal: free healthcare services for 50,000 or more individuals over the next decade.
